  1. Q: What is your 501(c)(3) number?
    A: There is no such thing. On August 23, 2001, our application for tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3) was approved by the IRS. All contributions to our organization from March 6, 2000, our date of incorporation, forward are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Federal Employer Identification Numbers (FEINs) are sometimes referred to as 501(c)(3) numbers. For more information about this, please contact the IRS. If you have questions about donating to us and would like our FEIN number for such purposes, please write to us or visit our "Helping Us" page.

  2. Q: Where are you located?
    A: We operate with a network of volunteer foster homes. Therefore, at this time there is no facility for you to visit the animals. If you are interested in adopting, please refer to our procedures page. If you are interested in fostering, please submit a foster application. If you are looking for us to make a donation of food or something else, call us at (703) 583-HSKY or write us. A volunteer would be happy to meet you. If you want to make a donation, it can be mailed to Pet Harbor at P.O. Box 73, Bowling Green, VA 22427. If requested, we will happily send a receipt.
