What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, brown eyes
Weight:
43 pounds (as of 2/16/18)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children of all ages. All interactions have been positive. Of course, I knocked the wee ones over when I tried to jump up to give them kisses. I didn’t realize I didn’t have to actually jump to reach them. It doesn’t matter. Whether they were up or down, I was able to shower them with kisses!
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 2/24/18, I was cat-tested. I completely ignored the cats. Seriously, I had no interest in them at all.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told I lived with a 2-year-old male Siberian Husky before being dumped in a shelter. Pet Harbor performed my dog-dog test with a female dog in heat and I passed with lots of wagging. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met multiple dogs & had all positive interactions with them. I even tried to play with Mr. Grumpy Dog. And, yes, as you may have guessed, I never stopped wagging. Completely out of my character, though, I did not like the male Lab mix in a different foster home.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Novice
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Lorraine Lisi.
History:
My former humans put me in an animal shelter with the excuse that they no longer had time for me. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.
Movies:
Coming soon!

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Cute as a button or, since Easter is around the corner, a little bunny rabbit with soft chocolate eyes. Wags. That’s my nickname and claim to fame. I NEVER stop wagging. I’m a doll, a sweetheart, an easy keeper. I’ve been tossed around to so many homes recently that I pace a bit on unsure feet when I first get to a home. Noises from things like dishwashers or vacuums, those things scare me. So if you don’t want to clean house, you will have an excuse if you adopt me! I love to play – with kids and most dogs. I am a tiny girl who could easily curl up in your lap and shower you with kisses.

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
53 pounds (as of 2/22/18)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children ages 1-4. I can live with them or not. Either way is fine with me. When I met the 4yo, I gave him a kiss and let him hug me. When I met the 1yo, I let her pet me for a while, but I really spent most of my time trying to get her to open the front door.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. I am new to Pet Harbor. 2/19/18, I failed my cat test and, therefore, cannot live in a home with cats.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs. I passed my dog-dog test. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met multiple dogs my size of both genders and have had all positive interactions with them, though I mostly ignore them. I can live with them or without them. It makes no difference to me either way.
Energy Level:
Medium
Owner Aptitude Level:

Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Kevin O'Rourke.
History:
For the crime of running at large, I landed in an animal shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor Rescue.
Movies:
Coming soon!

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Information coming soon! If you are looking for an easy Siberian, well, being a Siberian definitionally defies “easy,” but I seem to be pretty mild for a Siberian.

Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children of all ages. I give them kisses, and I let them play with my puppies to their hearts’ content. Children are great because they have toys, and I love toys!

Experience with Dogs:

Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met multiple dogs my size of both genders and had all positive interactions with them until I had puppies. After that, all bets were off. Now that my puppies are weaned & gone, I’m back to being a fun-loving gal who loves to play with other dogs. River, also available for adoption, is my BFF.

  3. 4/14/18 – Just enjoying the weather.
  4. 4/14/18 – What is this… toy?

More About Me: I’ll keep you laughing, but my antics are continuous. I’m not a dog for the faint of heart. My humans will need to be very sharp, Johnny on the Spot. However, I will give you lots and lots of sweet kisses and continuously wag. I am absolutely the most loving dog in the entire universe. I am also the most puppified dog in the universe, far too young to be a mom. What does that mean? It means I will chew everything. All good puppies do just that! Food motivates me. So I can be easily trained using food rewards! I love children. They love me. I came to Pet Harbor pregnant. On February 20, 2018, I had 2 puppies. My baby boys have gone to new homes. My turn! My boys are cute, but I’m the whole package. Very loving, sweet as pie, waggy, comical, animated, and gorgeous.

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
47 pounds (as of 2/1/18)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children ages newborn to 15. I have had all positive interactions with them. I sniffed and then mostly ignored the newborn.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. I do have a prey drive because, along with my brother, Brue, also available for adoption, I participated in eliminating the world of a pesky goat. On 2/7/18, Pet Harbor performed a cat test. The result is, in a word, FAIL. I cannot share my home with kitties.
Experience with Dogs:
I lived with Brue, my brother, also available for adoption. When Pet Harbor performed the first dog-dog test with another male dog, I expressed dominance behaviors. During the second dog-dog test, the interaction was issue-free. I just had my neuter surgery. Sometimes after neuter, dog-dog behaviors change. Now that I am in a foster home, Pet Harbor doesn’t understand how I ever showed dominance. I am a mush. I have been fine with other dogs in my foster home, including a 10# one. I did get in some fights with Brue over toys. He started them, but I didn’t run away. I guarded those toys like they were precious metals. With the other dogs in my foster home, there are no issues with toys. I even let my foster siblings steal my toys.
Energy Level:
Medium
Owner Aptitude Level:
Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Fernando Jiminez-Molina.
History:
Pet Harbor was told Brue and I were put into a shelter because our owners decided they were unable to care for us. From there, we came to Pet Harbor.
Movies:
  1. 2/6/18 – Playing and exploring my foster home with my brother Brue.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Secret time! My smile is my claim to fame. I approach everybody with my pearly whites and a twinkle in my eye. Who could resist? Shhh. Don’t tell anyone! Let me spring it on the unsuspecting so before they know it, I can wrap them around my paws. I’m super sweet & love to give easy kisses. I cry over squeaky toys. I have to worry about them, after all, and protect them from harm. I have a lot to learn, but I am a willing student & my foster family has taught me quite a bit, such as climbing stairs. Are you my new teacher? I hope so because it’s making me smile!

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Grey & white, blue eyes
Weight:
48 pounds (as of 2/1/18)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children of all ages. I have had all positive interactions with them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. I do have a prey drive because, along with my brother, Fernando, who already found a home, I participated in eliminating the world of a pesky goat. On 2/7/18, Pet Harbor performed a cat test. The result is, in a word, FAIL. I cannot share my home with kitties.
Experience with Dogs:
I lived with Fernando, my brother. He found a home already. Now it’s my turn! When Pet Harbor performed the first dog-dog test with another male dog, the interaction was issue-free. During my second dog-dog test, I expressed dominance behaviors. Now that I am with Pet Harbor, the first thing they noticed is I tried to play with Fernando, but Fernando didn’t really care. Then I humped him for a while. He doesn’t care much about that either. I was much more bonded to Fernando than Fernando was to me. The exception to that rule is when toys are around, I will defend all toys as if I am the leader of the entire toy universe. I was fine with the other Siberians at my foster home. Then I met a small dog and a larger male dog at another house. I wasn’t nice to either of them. That was shortly after my neuter surgery. Now that it has been a little while, I play. A. Lot. Until he got adopted, Romito and I were play buds. We did have a big fight over an unusual situation with a female, but we went back to being best buds after that was over. Of course, as mentioned already, when toys are in the vicinity, all bets are off. On 3/17/18, I was adopted. There is a female Siberian in that home. Sadly, I played rough with her, true Siberian play, biting the ankles, grabbing hold of scruffs, and pulling off tags, but I also fought with her some, too. So I came back to Pet Harbor. Now that I am back at Pet Harbor, I play with other dogs a lot except there is one dog I bully. He was just neutered. I am fine with the other dogs, who have been fixed for years. So some dogs I can live with, some I cannot. If your dog(s) understand me, I can live with them. If they don’t, I can’t. In any event, the toys need to be hidden!

Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Richard Bruehert.
History:
Pet Harbor was told Fernando and I were put into a shelter because our owners decided they were unable to care for us. From there, we came to Pet Harbor. I was adopted on 3/17. The female Siberian and I didn’t see eye to eye. So I, sadly, returned to homelessness.
Movies:
  1. 2/6/18 – Playing and exploring my foster home with my brother Fernando.
  2. 2/10/18 – See, I can be patient!
  3. 2/10/18 – I give the best kisses!
  4. 4/2/18 – Part of the pack.

More About Me: Happy and sweet. Those are the best two words to describe me. Helping her drive, I sat next to my transporter, snuggled with her, and gave her kisses. My job title is Chief Sponge. It is my duty to soak up all loving from all available humans. Come closer, and I’ll prove it! Kisses, sweet and soft ones, are the business cards I leave everywhere I go. And where I go is to follow my human(s) wherever they go. Mary had a little lamb. Do you have a little Brue? Food and squeaky toys are at the entrance to my heart. Although sweetness is my primary trait, I also am comical. So hugs and laughter. What more could you possibly desire? And yes, I will sing for my supper. I have a lot to learn, and I promise to be ever so grateful if you teach me. There is a reward for teaching me: unlimited kisses. So how about it? Will you be my furever home?
