What am I?
Spayed female Siberian husky
Colors:
Red & white, bi-eyed (one blue eye, one brown eye)
Weight:
35 pounds (as of 3/31/2022)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor was told I lived with children ages 3 and up & was great with them. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 8. I have been great with them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor was told I am good with cats. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have not yet been introduced to cats. When more information is learned, it will be posted here. Siberian huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if Pet Harbor’s evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told I am good with dogs. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have been very playful with all dogs I’ve met. They’ve all been Siberian husky-sized.
Energy Level:
Medium
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Michael Matthew Miller.
History:
Because the family house burned down and the new home did not allow me, my family put me in an animal shelter. So I lost my home, then my family. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian husky
Colors:
White, blue eyes
Weight:
65 pounds (as of 5/12/2022)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children of all ages. I have been great with them all.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 5/7/2022, I was initially introduced to cats. I sniffed a few times and walked away each time. But when kitty ran, I maintained a focus on kitty. On 5/12/2022, Pet Harbor again introduced me to kitties. There was mutual admiration. Siberian huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if Pet Harbor’s evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs. In my shelter evaluation, I did well with another male dog. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have ruffled my feathers a few times with other male Siberians but other than that have been fine with all dogs I’ve met.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Peter Anton Klein.
History:
Running at large, I landed in a county shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor. I was microchipped. The person who held my microchip registration was contacted but did not redeem me. It makes no sense to anybody who meets me.

More About Me: Ready? Set! Action! Let’s roll! I’m not about to sideline. I’m in the center of the action. Heck, I am the center of action. I love to play rough and tumble with the boy in my foster home. I get so excited to see him, and he eats that up! I’ve also been super obedient in my foster home. You can see these things in my videos. The folks at the animal shelter from which I came pushed hard to get rescue to take me because they saw what a fantastic boy I am. At my foster home, I get to go to the bus stop and the ballfield with children, and that’s great! I enjoy playing ball with my foster boy. I have been polite, only getting on furniture by request. I’ve also been a big-time cuddler in my foster home. My foster family has a cool nickname for me. They call me a land cloud! Isn’t that cool? Someone in my past life took good care of me except for the heartworm disease I had. It’s so easy to prevent. Why they didn’t bother is strange. I am a really good boy.

History:
My human died. Then I went to live with a family member. Then I went to live with another family member. Then I killed her chickens and ducks, she said, which didn’t make sense because I play with and sleep with my buddy the goat. I ultimately ended up at Pet Harbor.

Experience with Cats:
On 3/19/2022, I was introduced to cats and showed an intense interest. On 3/20/2022, I was again introduced to cats. I did try to bite the kitty. Don’t worry. Kitty wasn’t harmed, but we did learn kitties cannot safely live in my home.

More About Me: I’m a young Siberian. I am as sweet as I can possibly be, I am into everything, and I don’t listen. It’s a vicious cycle. I don’t listen, I get into trouble, and then ignore your reprimands or corrections. My favorite place is on my back while you scratch my belly, but when your back is turned, my second favorite place is in the trashcan. You fill it. I empty it. Teamwork. In my foster home, my preference is to sleep under the bed, but when you get up and plant your feet on the floor, my nose comes out between them. I’d hate to miss any kiss opportunities. I love people. I will jump on the sofa if allowed and snuggle up. I pick the seat closest to a human.

Oh, and a bonus about me – I fetch! Toss a toy. I’ll bring it back and place it in your hand. Most of the time, I actually do this. Of course, I am a Siberian. So it’s not 100% but close! So why would someone not want to adopt me when they get a bonus with the whole package?
