What am I?
Spayed female Siberian husky
Black & white, blue eyes
37 pounds (as of 3/14/2022)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 8. All of my interactions with them have been great. In foster care, I have wagged my tail in circles while I have given the children everlasting attention-seeking kisses.
Experience with Cats:
On 3/19/2022, I was introduced to cats and showed an intense interest. On 3/20/2022, I was again introduced to cats. I did try to bite the kitty. Don’t worry. Kitty wasn’t harmed, but we did learn kitties cannot safely live in my home.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs. When introduced to dogs at the shelter, my interaction was fine. In foster care, all the dogs are Siberian husky sized. I have been fine with all of them, usually enticing play.
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience preferred
Running at large, I landed in a county shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.
More About Me: I’m a young Siberian. I am as sweet as I can possibly be, I am into everything, and I don’t listen. It’s a vicious cycle. I don’t listen, I get into trouble, and then ignore your reprimands or corrections. My favorite place is on my back while you scratch my belly, but when your back is turned, my second favorite place is in the trashcan. You fill it. I empty it. Teamwork. In my foster home, my preference is to sleep under the bed, but when you get up and plant your feet on the floor, my nose comes out between them. I’d hate to miss any kiss opportunities. I love people. I will jump on the sofa if allowed and snuggle up. I pick the seat closest to a human.
Oh, and a bonus about me – I fetch! Toss a toy. I’ll bring it back and place it in your hand. Most of the time, I actually do this. Of course, I am a Siberian. So it’s not 100% but close! So what would someone not want to adopt me when they get a bonus with the whole package?
