Age:
2 years old
Birthday:
September 11, 2017
What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
64 pounds (as of 3/9/19)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor was told I lived with children up to age 4 before coming to Pet Harbor and that I was playful with them. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met lots of children of all ages. I shower them with kisses.  Due to my energy level, I can knock down little children, but after I knock them down, I will shower them with kisses.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor was told I have never met a cat. On 12/8, Pet Harbor introduced me to a cat. With hackles up, I barked & lunged. For kitty safety, I cannot live with them.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told I lived with another dog before coming to Pet Harbor. Then in my dog-dog introduction, I was uber excited & attempted to entice play. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have been very playful with the other dogs in foster care. They are 20-80 pounds. When I see small dogs at PetsMart, I am fixated, but in my foster home, I have become the caretaker of Dano & Ezra (puppies). I adore them & play with them a lot. You see, I believe I am a puppy, too.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Northern breed experience required
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Maxima Jean-Pierre.
History:
My owners put me in an animal shelter because I “frequently escaped.” From there, I came to Pet Harbor Rescue. I was adopted from Pet Harbor and returned, citing issues with the other dog.
Movies:
  1. 12/8/18 – Jolly young Maxim & old St. Nick.
  2. 12/8/18 – Let’s dance!
  3. 12/8/18 – Birds of a Feather.

More About Me: I’m all about that play, ’bout that play, ’bout that play, no trouble. Well, I’m a young Siberian. So trouble kind of comes with the territory. Full of humor, love, strength, and without trepidation or slowing mechanisms, I am always at the ready to shower people with kisses. In fact, like all good Siberians, I have a job. My job title is Johnny Appleseed. Instead of spreading seeds so new apple trees can grow, I spread kisses and love everywhere so happiness and joy will grow. Funny thing about me – I am so intensely focused on getting affection from humans & giving it back to them, I forget to be a Siberian. I ran out a door in my foster home & started sniffing around. Then my foster sister called my name. Oh, boy! Someone to show & get love. I forgot to run away. I ran right into her arms, jumped up, gave her kisses, and let her grab my collar. Good thing I love love! Another funny thing about me – I adore – ADORE – puppies. I am absolutely enthralled with Ezra & Dano, also available for adoption. But the funny part is when I meet small dogs at PetsMart, I seem to have a fixation on them that concerns the volunteers. See how funny I can be? Siberians generally stay in puppy stage until about age 3. Yep, I’m well within that puppy stage. So if you are ready for loads of laughter, slurpy kisses, and maybe have a canine playmate for me, let’s go home!
