What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
Colors:
Grey & white, parti-eyed (both blue & brown in each eye)
Weight:
37 pounds (as of 5/30/19)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I’ve met various children of elementary age and younger. I adore the children I live with in my foster home, and they adore me.  At first, I was all puppy & full of energy and would knock down little ones.  Now I am a sweetie who gives them light kisses.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 6/3/19, Pet Harbor performed a test for cat-friendliness. I did not react when a cat approached me.  After that, I went across the room and tried to play with a kitty, but kitty was not in a play mood.  So I simply left the area.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with other dogs. I passed my dog-dog tests. Since coming to Pet Harbor, sometimes I run with the other dogs.  Sometimes I play with them.  Sometimes I just sit on the outskirts and watch them.  I’ve had no negative interactions.
Energy Level:
Medium-High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Novice
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Anthony M. Ventura.
History:
Running at large, I landed myself in an animal shelter. After serving my time and not being redeemed, I came to Pet Harbor Rescue.
Movies:
  1. 6/8/19 – I’m a happy girl
  2. 6/8/19 – Making new friends
  3. 6/8/19 – Exploring with my new friend

More About Me: Hopefully my new home will have children or at least visiting children. I need an outlet for my abundance of kisses. I love children. They seem to love my small size. I like adults, too, because, as you will see in my photos & videos, second only to kisses, I love giving hugs. Another thing you will learn from my photos & videos is I’m not a fan of cameras! But if I play my cards right, you’ll spend all your time on the receiving end of my love and not behind a shutter box. (For you younger people, that’s synonymous with camera.) I’m an easy keeper. I’m as good as I can be. When crated, I’m quiet. I know commands. Everybody who meets me falls in love. So do you dare to meet me? 🙂

What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
Colors:
White, blue eyes
Weight:
49 pounds (as of 5/17/19)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children, and I am brand new to Pet Harbor. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children ages 0-6.  I am good with them, soft and easy.  Loud noises and quick movement scared me at first.  I just needed a few days to warm up.  So the same will likely happen when I go to a new home.  Just have a bit of patience, and it will all be fine in a few days.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 6/6/19, Pet Harbor performed a test for cat-friendliness. At first, I shied away from the kitties. When a kitty came towards me, I backed away. After that, when another kitty came towards me, I did not back away. I also did not react in any other manner either.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told I am friendly with other dogs. I passed my dog-dog tests. Since coming to Pet Harbor, it took me a few days to warm up, but once I did, I became the life of the party.  I constantly play with other dogs. They are all around my size, both boys and girls.  I am always in the center of playtime.
Energy Level:

Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Farrell Peter Lynch.
History:
Citing personal medical issues, my family dumped me in an animal shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor Rescue.

More About Me: My occupation is that of a D.L.C., a Dog Loneliness Correcter. You see, I love to play. I live to play. No playtime happens without Lyn in the middle of it. And no dog is allowed to be down or gloomy around me. Maybe I could moonlight as a fitness instructor. Rah! Rah! When I see a dog trying to mope, I must intervene. It is within my power to get said pup up & moving to the groove. Play, play, play. That’s the cure for what ails ya. I also check people’s loneliness quotient. I will sit in front of them, pushed against them, and look up at them, whether from the front or by flipping my head backwards, and make sure they’re happy. If they’re not, I will let them know it’s time to move to the groove! So if you’re a lonely soul or if you are someone who helps others get through loneliness and what a partner in that endeavor, I’m the answer!

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
53 pounds (as of 5/3/19)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I’ve met children of various ages.  I enjoy them, and they enjoy me.  I like to play, and so do they.  I do mouth, which means I play using my mouth on people. Even though I don’t mean to hurt, mouthing, especially on younger and older skin, can really hurt. Training is needed!
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats, but because I show too much interest in kitties, indicating I could potentially be a danger to them, Pet Harbor will not let me live with cats. On 6/3/19, Pet Harbor performed a test for cat-friendliness. I showed lots of interest in the kitties & barked incessantly at them, confirming the decision that I cannot live with them.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs. In my dog-dog tests, I was excited and attempted to entice play. My interactions with other dogs in my foster home have been great. I’m in my element with other dogs. They’re all my buddies, even smaller dogs. I enjoy nonstop playtime with them.  In fact, the best home for me will have another dog to be my playmate.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience required
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for FDNY's Lt. John F. Ginley.
History:
Because I ate a few things (like articles of clothing) I shouldn’t eat, I needed surgery to remove them from my innards. Because I needed surgery, my humans surrendered me. So I ended up in an animal shelter. From there, I was adopted to people who didn’t understand my breed. After 10 days, they returned me to the shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor Rescue.
Movies:
  1. 5/4/19 – My human and little dog friends!
  2. 5/11/19 – Exploring new surroundings
  3. 5/11/19 – Will sit ever so gently for treats!

More About Me: A cheap date. No fancy French restaurant for me. I’ll eat your socks, underwear, dental floss, whatever you have lying around. Certainly it will be an expensive lesson for you after the date, but at least I will have tidied up your home! I also am amorous.  So maybe a French restaurant is a good thing!  I will jump in your lap & shower you with kisses.  Even though I do know some commands and am a pretty good boy, I’m all puppy. And just like all babies, that means everything in the mouth. So to adopt me, you must be ready for all that puppyhood entails! For example, one of Pet Harbor’s alumni got into an ink cartridge.  Yes, that means ink everywhere. He’s a year old. I’m loads of fun, but my adopters must appreciate all that means. Training would be a great idea for me! Since I love playing with other dogs and they will keep me distracted so I don’t eat your unmentionables, I need a home with a canine playmate. So are you ready for laughter, fun, infinite love & playfulness, and the good & bad of toddlerhood?

What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, brown eyes
Weight:
62 pounds (as of 5/2/19)
Experience with Children:
Because I was running at large, Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. However, since coming to Pet Harbor, I have shown I love all people. Children adore me. It’s mutual. They can hug me all day long. Taller people get hugs from me, standing on my hind legs.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 5/8/19, Pet Harbor performed a test for cat-friendliness. During the test, I showed no interest in the cats. A cat ran during the test. I ignored the kitty. When a kitty was standing next to me at the door at the top of the stairs, I looked at the kitty while wagging my tail, but I made no further movement.
Experience with Dogs:
I was running at large with a German Shepherd Dog. Other than that, nothing is known about my history with dogs. I passed my dog-dog tests. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have interacted with dogs around my size. I have had no negative interactions with them. When I first got to Pet Harbor, they decided I was a people’s dog, not a dog’s dog. Now that I have been here a few days, I have shown I am both. I want to spend time with people, but when I can’t, I am in the center of play with the other dogs.

Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Atsushi Shiratori.
History:
For the crime of running at large, I found myself in a rural animal shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor Rescue.
Movies:
  1. 5/4/19 – Just some exploring!

More About Me: Think of the sweetest thing you can. Think of the most obedient dog you can. Think of the most loving person in the world. Wrap all of that up in one package, and you’ve got Shira. I know commands, and I listen to them. I don’t have a favorite person. I make the rounds. Each person in the room gets to experience my love. I leave no person unturned. One mission. I have one mission. And that is to give all the love I can to everyone I can. When I’m not cuddling with someone, I enjoy playing with other dogs. Besides all of that, I’m a really good girl as well. I’m pretty much what you’d call a plug-and-play gal.
