More About Me: I am a puppy, all puppy, with all that entails. Puppies and children are not born knowing how to behave. They must be taught. Though we’re lots of fun, we also need training. I’m uber friendly and playful, ready to be putty in your hands. If you know Siberians, you know me. All those traits that describe a Siberian describe me. Siberians are friendly and loving. Yep, that’s me. I’m a total sweetheart. Happy as can be. Yep, that’s me. Sing the song of my people? Yep, I do. I’m not quiet. Well, I’m not quiet when my human(s) leave me alone. I have quite a lot to say in protest. If you know & love Siberians, you will know that song is melodious & enjoy it, but if you live in an apartment or in close quarters, your neighbors may not. Some Siberians are good apartment dogs. I’m not one of them. I’m much happier when my people are home where they can pet me or fix me food or let me kiss them. So the bottom line is if you are a Siberian person, I’m the perfect dog for you!

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Black & white, blue eyes
52 pounds (as of 10/19/18)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 5. I played with them & kissed them. I am a rambunctious puppy. So I will knock down little children, but after I knock them down, I shower them with kisses.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. I am new to Pet Harbor. Pet Harbor has not yet performed a test for cat-friendliness but will soon. When this information is known, it will be posted here.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs. I passed my dog-dog tests with female & male dogs. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met male & female dogs. I am a puppy, and have played with them all.
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Joseph Jenkins, Jr.
My former owners bought me from an Amish breeder. Nine months later, they put me in an animal shelter, indicating they do not have the “time or resources needed to care for” me. From there, I came to Pet Harbor Rescue.
