Age:
5 years old
Birthday:
November 23, 2013
What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, one blue eye, one parti eye (both blue & brown in the same eye)
Weight:
33 pounds (as of 6/13/19)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children of all ages and have had all positive interactions.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 7/20/19, Pet Harbor did an evaluation and exposed me to a cat. I did not show aggression towards the cat. I did not react when kitty swatted me, but I am generally afraid. Siberian Huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. While our evaluation was favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told I previously lived with multiple dogs. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met other dogs around my size. I play with them. My foster brothers are Siberian Huskies, and we get along famously.
Energy Level:
Medium
Owner Aptitude Level:
Shy dog experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Faina Rapoport.
History:
Along with others, I was part of a court case. Custody of all of us was awarded to the jurisdiction of our residence. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.
Movies:
  1. 7/17/19 – Play With Me!
  2. 7/8/19 – With foster brothers Buckley (right) and Barney (formerly Pet Harbor’s Buckley & Spitz), I star (center) in Three-Dog Night!
  3. 7/8/19 – Soaking Up Lovin’!
  4. 7/17/19 – Siberians need a job. I am a referee.
  5. 7/17/19 – Smart lady I am. I always go to the highest perch to be above!
  6. 6/29/19 – Do I know you?

More About Me: Must. Have. Throne. I prefer the highest perch. Wherever I have to climb to get it, I’m in! Dining room tables make great sofas. When I first got to Pet Harbor, I was afraid. A week later, well, just check out my videos, and you’ll see. Having another dog around my size in my family would be wonderful! See me play with my foster brothers in the videos. Once I start dropping my fear, I will be in love with you and you will be in love with me. My goal then is to be with my human people & canine people. I have quite a bit to say, and I am playful as well. And, to boot, am I not a cutie patootie?
