Age (approx):
10 months old
Birthday (approx):
December 15, 2018
What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
Colors:
Red & white, blue eyes
Weight:
31 pounds (as of 9/13/19)
Experience with Children:
Prior history is unknown. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met toddlers & elementary-aged children. All my interactions with them have been positive.
Experience with Cats:
Prior history is unknown. On 9/29/19, Pet Harbor introduced me to a cat. I did a play bow & tried to entice kitty in play. I did not try to harm this kitty, but I was more playful than the kitty would have liked for me to have been. Siberian Huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. While our evaluation was favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
Prior history is unknown. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have had positive interactions with every dog I have met. I just want to play, play, and play.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Kerene Gordon.
History:
For the crime of running at large, I landed in a county animal shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor. The shelter believes I was hit by a car. In some of my photos, you will see my leg is wrapped. It was not broken. The wrap was there to keep me from chewing my stitches, but as I am now healed, the stitches are all gone.
