What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
51 pounds (as of 12/13/19)
Experience with Children:
12/30/19, Pet Harbor introduced me to a 3yo child. I didn’t really interact with her, but I didn’t mind that she was there. She walked me from one room to the next using my collar. I didn’t mind.
Experience with Cats:
12/30/19, Pet Harbor introduced me to cats. I didn’t mind that they were there or when they ran. I paid no attention to them. Siberian Huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. While I did not display aggression towards the cats mentioned here, that may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
When introduced to a dog at the shelter, I was friendly and relaxed with him. On 12/30/19, when Pet Harbor introduced me to a male Siberian, I played with him a lot. Wore me out, & I slept well. When introduced to a group of dogs, all Siberians, I played nonstop. I am in my element with other dogs. The best home for me will have another dog around my energy level & size.
Energy Level:
Medium-High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Marcus R. Neblett.
History:
My former “owners” surrendered me to a county animal shelter. The reason they listed was “No time.”

More About Me: Ever heard of a dogs’ dog or a people’s dog? Dogs that are “people’s dogs” focus on people and don’t care if other dogs are about or not. Dogs that are “dogs’ dogs” focus on other dogs and don’t care if people are about or not. When I’m where other dogs aren’t, I pace until I can be with them. Dogs. They’re the cat’s meow. Pun intended. Once I’m with them, it’s all roses. All Siberians need a job. Perhaps mine should be that of a minister. Leading a congregation of Siberians sounds like a dream come true to me.

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
52 pounds (as of 1/3/20)
Experience with Children:
In my foster home, I have met children of various ages and have interacted perfectly with them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor was told I participated in ending a cat’s life. Erring on the side of caution, Pet Harbor will not place me in a home where a kitty or kitties reside.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told I am great with other dogs. In my foster home, being with the other dogs (except the males who act like roosters) is fine, but being with humans is what I really want.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Chet Louie.
History:
In lieu of felinocide charges, my humans put my canine accomplice and me in a county shelter.

More About Me: As good as I am handsome. In the Goldilocks story, I’d be the one who is just right. Just the right level of playfulness, just the right amount of soft kisses, just the perfect energy level. Everything. Not too hard, not too soft, not too energetic, not too lazy. Just right. Ready for a Siberian pup who is just right? Have a cat-free home? I’m ready to go with you! Please don’t forget the porridge!
