Age:

Birthday:
November 3, 2018
What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
CKC Information:
CKC # 2150776-8
PARENTS:
– Sire: Finn-FN2187
– Dam: Persephone Angel in the Dark
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
38 pounds (as of 3/10/20)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor was told I am good with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met a 2yo child. I let her give me treats. I even gave her a couple of kisses, and I’m not big on kissing!
Experience with Cats:
I met cats in my foster home & ignored them. Even when a cat ran, I ignored. Pet Harbor was told I did not react negatively, even to outside cats. Siberian Huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if our evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
I have been fine with the dogs I have met in foster care with the exception of mini dogs.
Energy Level:
Medium
Owner Aptitude Level:
Novice
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Lyudmila Ksido.
History:
For just a year old, I have a lengthy history. I was purchased from a backyard breeder in Virginia. My owners had 2 Siberians & decided they bit off more than they could chew and put us in a rescue organization’s program. I got adopted. Three months later, my adopter decided because they live in an apartment, they should take me to an animal shelter. From there, I ended up in Pet Harbor’s program.

More About Me: So, first, I am a doll. Well, I am still a female Siberian. So I will tell the males what for & they will obey. 🙂 We rule, don’t we, ladies? But I think there’s a misconception I want to correct. Seeing a CKC# in my bio & the names of my parents means zilch as far as pedigree. Let’s be clear. I came from a backyard breeder, not a show breeder. The only reason Pet Harbor puts that information there is in case folks want to research & try to find out any medical history that might run in my biological family. That’s it. Please don’t think my having a CKC number makes me special. Exactly the opposite. I am special because I am me, not because I have a CKC #. Now on to business. I’ve been through so much in my short life. If you are willing to work through whatever problems come up in your life or whatever you decide you don’t like, then I’m ready to go home! If you’re not, please don’t adopt. So I’m a super good girl. Seriously, how many Siberians do you know who IGNORE the kitties? I have just a smidgen of timidity, really just a smidgen, when I first meet folks. If you were tossed around like I have been, wouldn’t you, too? It just occurred to me that since I’m a special lady & I rule, I should consider myself golden. The golden child. There. So who is ready to bring home a golden child? Let me brush off my tiara, and I’ll be ready!
