What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
Black & white, blue eyes
38 pounds (as of 5/22/2020)
Experience with Children:
Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 6. I adore them. They adore me.
Experience with Cats:
I am new to Pet Harbor. Pet Harbor has not introduced me to cats yet. When they do, the information will be posted here. Siberian Huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if our evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met several dogs. They’re all my size or bigger. I’ve been fine with all of them.
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience required
Running at large, I landed myself in an animal shelter. My owner did not retrieve me. After serving my time, I came to Pet Harbor Rescue.
More About Me: Let me tell you a bit about why my name was chosen. You see, I am really picky with my food, BUT I have no problem eating things that aren’t food. For example, when I went to the shelter, my stool was checked. In it, they found a sock. I couldn’t tell you where the other sock of the pair is, but it’s my understanding that solo socks are a common problem. Anyway, one of Pet Harbor’s amazing volunteers, the one who can find a needle in a haystack, found some sock-appropriate names for me from the list of 9/11 victims. I, therefore, became Bobbi, as in bobby socks. My foster family cannot figure out how I could have eaten a sock when I seem to do nothing wrong. Maybe it was my sole mistake ever? I really am a wonderful gal, sweet, gentle, not a powerhouse. I stay out of trouble & emit gentle sweetness. I paid attention when one of the White House inhabitants gave his inaugural address and became kind & gentle.
