What am I?
Neutered male Siberian husky
Black & white, blue eyes
42 pounds (as of 9/15/20)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor was told I lived with children up to age 9 before coming to Pet Harbor and was great with them. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 7. I have been great with them. I am all puppy and can run at younger children, knocking them down.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On August 26, 2020, Pet Harbor introduced me to cats. I did my best to find a knife, fork, salt & pepper, and a bit of ketchup. The only way I can live with cats is if they are on a plate.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told I lived with Resta, also available for adoption, before coming to Pet Harbor. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met multiple dogs, all around my size. The more time has gone on, I have changed. Some dogs are okay, some are not. I am fine without them. At first, Pet Harbor thought I needed to have another, but now I’d rather be the King. Maybe I’ll be change again. That’s what dogs do.
Energy Level:
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
Along with Resta, also available for adoption from Pet Harbor Rescue, I was put into an animal shelter by my former humans. The reason given was “Baby #3.” New baby in, existing fur babies out. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.

More About Me: My foster mom calls me “Hemi” for short. So my foster sister Sibelle (formerly Pet Harbor’s Angell) really needs a boyfriend. She thinks that is my mission in life. Every foster dog who comes here she believes is here just for her. But me, when I got here, I preferred playing with Boris, my foster brother. Let’s not tell Sibelle, but the truth is I was playing hard to get. If you tell her, I’ll never hear the end of it. You will see in the videos how hard she tries to get my attention. Eventually I did let her think she did, but I really had my eye on her from the start. I’m a super happy boy. I love all people. When my medical stuff happened, I had to change foster homes temporarily. I haven’t been wonderful with the dogs in my new foster home. I have actually really enjoyed being special and not having to put up with other dogs. Sometimes I will play with them, but most of the time, I just tell them I’m the boss. Children in my temporary foster home absolutely adore me and I them.
