Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 7. I have been fantastic with them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor was told I have never met cats. Pet Harbor did only an initial introduction to cats, and my reaction was pretty strong. Therefore, Pet Harbor will not place me in a home with cats.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told the only dogs I’ve known are Eva and Jacob (also available for adoption) and that I’m great with them. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met several dogs, all around my size. All interactions are positive.

High

Young Northern breed experience preferred

I was named for Jake Denis Jagoda.
History:
Along with Jacob and Eva, also available for adoption, I lived on a chain by day, in a crate by night. Then my people lost their home and were not allowed to take us to the new place. Dogs Deserve Better Blue Ridge is a wonderful organization that helps dogs in need. They stepped in. Then we came to Pet Harbor.

More About Me: Some things you should understand about me – because of my background, new people and environments make me nervous. I try to get away. If I’m on a leash, I will pull you. And let me tell you I am super strong. On the flip side, I absolutely am super sweet and totally adore children. Also, I weighed 45 pounds on 12/11/2020. Either the scales weren’t accurate or I wouldn’t stand still because I am closer to the 60 pounds I weighed on 11/23.
