What am I?
Spayed female Siberian husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
45 pounds (as of 12/27/21)
Experience with Children:
Since coming to Pet Harbor, I’ve met children up to age 8. They’ve really enjoyed their time with me because I’m a young gal, just like them, and playful and fun, just like them. I also like to curl up and sleep in the bed with them.
Experience with Cats:
Initially when introduced to cats, I was pretty focused. Pet Harbor will repeat that introduction and report the findings here. Siberian huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if our evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
When I was introduced to dogs at the shelter, my interaction was playful. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I’ve met multiple dogs around my size. I’ve been playful with all of them. I did try to fuss at one pup I met, but I quickly got over it & played well with him.
Energy Level:
High

History:
Running at large, I landed in a county shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.

More About Me: Unless you like kisses, I’m not the gal for you. In my foster home, I adore the children, and they adore me. They have played with me, and I have played right alongside them. When they’ve wanted to cuddle, I’ve been putty in their hands. My foster mom thinks I’m the cat’s meow as well because while I’ve run and jumped and played like most young gals, when she tells me it’s time to calm down, I’ve also accommodated that request. Oh, and if you ate too much during the holidays, I’m your remedy. I’m told I’m a pretty strong puller. So I can help you work off those holiday pounds! My foster family thinks I’m pretty cool. I’ll bet you do as well.

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian husky
Colors:
Red & white, blue eyes
Weight:
68 pounds (as of 12/23/21)
Experience with Children:
Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children of all ages & have had all positive interactions with them. Like most energetic Siberians, I do jump, which some younger children don’t appreciate. The 8-year-old boy in my foster home thinks I’m wonderful. He says I’m his family’s first foster dog who has really played with him.
Experience with Cats:
On 1/14/2022, I was introduced to cats. and have been fine with them. After just a little sniff, I leave them alone. I got a little too close to one, got a smack. Then all was good. Overall, I was not too interested. Siberian huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if our evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
When introduced to dogs at the shelter, my interaction was playful. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have been very playful with the Siberians in my foster home. I’ve also met dogs of different sizes and have been fine with them.

Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Nicholas A. Bogdan.
History:
In 2019, I was in a county shelter. I was then adopted. Two years later, they turned me into the same shelter. The reason given was they were moving into an apartment. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.

More About Me: Fun. That’s what I’m about: fun. A big goofball! Here’s an example. I went outside and played in the mud with the other dogs in my foster home. So then my foster mom gave me a bath. That was fun! After the bath, I tried to play and dig in the water as it left the bathtub. You will see it in one of my videos. People can’t help but laugh at me! Even my eyes are so big I always look surprised. I keep everybody in stitches. The best thing about me is how I play with my foster boy. I love having a little buddy, and he loves playing with me. It’s a win-win if my new home has a child who will enjoy playing with me. In my foster home, I have been a shadow. I have followed everyone everywhere I can and have to be involved in whatever is happening. One more thing, I have shown my foster family I love to jump. Whether that is jumping up on people or over couches, I have been taken every opportunity to jump up I could.
