Age (approx):
4 years old
Birthday (approx):
March 31, 2018
What am I?
Neutered male Siberian husky
Weight:
56 pounds (as of 4/26/2022)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 8 and have been great with them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. At Pet Harbor, I have encountered cats daily in my foster home. I ignore them. See video. Siberian huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if Pet Harbor’s evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs. In my shelter evaluation, I was fine with another male dog. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have been great with other dogs.
Energy Level:
Medium-High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Northern breed experience preferred
History:
Running at large, I landed in a county shelter. My owners were located but did not redeem me. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.
More About Me: So I have two occupations. First, I’m a toymaker. To be a toymaker, one must have as a foundation a love of toys. I have that. The second ingredient of toymaking is creativity. I have that, too. I will turn just about anything into a toy. Good luck trying to be sad around me. I aim to not allow that. My second occupation is also a sadness-eradicating one. I’m a cuddler. At least in my foster home, I’ve been a cuddler. I soak up all the love I can find. For both of my careers, I am a pretty happy fella. Maybe I’m part bunny because I’ve been known to often do a sort of little hoppy dance. So how about it? Wanna dance?
