Age:
3 years old
Birthday:
February 6, 2019
What am I?
Spayed female Siberian husky
Colors:
White, blue eyes
Weight:
37 pounds
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 9. I’ve been great with them. In fact, you will see in my photos how I lean into them or get as close as I can for kisses.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor was told before becoming homeless, I lived with 2 cats. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have been introduced to cats and have had no issues with them at all. Siberian huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if Pet Harbor’s evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with other dogs. In my evaluation, I did well with other female dogs, mostly ignoring them. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have been fine with all dogs I’ve met, and I’ve met male and female dogs of all sizes. Though in foster care, I seem to prefer the company of humans, I have not had any issues with dogs.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Novice
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Richard Lanard Allen.
History:
I was surrendered to an animal shelter by my humans, to whom I belonged my entire life. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.

More About Me: What can I say? There’s one thing I want and one thing I give, and that is love. I love to love. Well, my foster mom says I need groceries, too. Somehow, I had the same home and family for 3.5 years and came out of it super skinny. How did that happen? I am healthy. So did I not get food? It’s a mystery to the Pet Harbor folks. What they can tell you is I am just full of love. Maybe I was starved for food and love. It hasn’t affected my happiness, ability to love, energy level, any of that. Always have a smile on my face. I’ll always put a smile on your face. What else can I say? A girl just wants to be loved.
