What am I?
Neutered male Siberian husky
Black & white, blue eyes
47 pounds (as of 12/8/2022)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 9 and have been great with them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 12/19/2022, Pet Harbor introduced me to cats. Based on my reaction or, more accurately, lack of a reaction, Pet Harbor suspects I lived with cats in my prior life. I really was unfazed by the kitties. Roux, who came from the same home I did, was equally as unfazed. Siberian huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if Pet Harbor’s evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told I came from a home with other dogs, including Roux, also available for adoption. When evaluated at the shelter before coming to Pet Harbor, I was great with the dogs I met. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have been great with the dogs I’ve met. They’re all Siberian husky sized, both male and female.
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience preferred
With Roux, my owner put me in an animal shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.
More About Me: Really, what my foster family has observed about me can be described in one word: love. They can break that down to snuggles and hugs and kisses and desire to be near. I really have been totally full of love since I got to Pet Harbor. My personality just shines. You won’t catch me without smiles and happiness. Casanova. That’s what they should have named me. So come tiptoe through the tulips with me as I showcase my love to you. Please note I do not have to go to the same family who adopts Roux. I am my own man.
