What am I?
Neutered male Siberian husky
Colors:
Red & white, blue eyes
Weight:
52 pounds (as of 8/27/2024)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 11 and have been great with them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 8/11/2024, Pet Harbor introduced me to cats. It was a pretty swift verdict. I cannot live with cats and keep cats safe.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs except that I was great with them when evaluated in a shelter before coming to Pet Harbor. When I first got to Pet Harbor, I ruffled my feathers with dogs. Then I got neutered. Now most of the time, I play well with them. They are all around my size. I do still occasionally need to ruffle my feathers – when I feel a need to make sure lesser beings understand I am the Boss Dawg!
Energy Level:
Medium
Owner Aptitude Level:
Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Daniel R. Nolan.
History:
Running at large, I landed in an animal shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.

More About Me: Please come run with me while I tell you more about me. You see, I’m in training for a marathon. Don’t you think that’s a good idea, a Siberian running a marathon? I mean, if there are no distractions, I’m bound to win. But what good Siberian could ignore distractions? When not preparing for marathons, I play. Okay. I admit I like to snuggle, too. But that comes after playtime. And there’s also dinnertime. I’m down with that, too! It just occurred to me I don’t want much. Someone to love me, playtime, exercise, a bit of food, not really asking for much, am I?

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian husky
Colors:
Black & white wooly, blue eyes
Weight:
64 pounds (as of 8/27/2024)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have been great with all children I’ve met.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 8/27/2024, Pet Harbor briefly introduced me to cats. I sniffed and went on my merry way. A bit later, I seemed more interested but also was easily distracted. Bottom line: Pet Harbor cannot say definitively I am good with cats, but there is hope. On 10/12/2024, Pet Harbor introduced me again to a kitty. I sniffed ktity. Kitty swatted me. I charged kitty. So probably it’s not a good idea for me to live with kitties.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs except that I was great with them when evaluated in a shelter before coming to Pet Harbor. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I’ve been great with the dogs I’ve met. I’ve immediately engaged in play with all of them. They are all around my size. There is a male in my foster home who ruffles his feathers. I won’t engage. I walk away from him. Wouldn’t it be great if humans would learn that trick?

Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Stuart Seid Louis.
History:
Running at large, I landed in an animal shelter. The shelter found my owner, who did not retrieve me. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.

More About Me: So before I say what I have to say, I need to explain what I mean by it. Does that even make sense? I am kind and polite. I in the Siberian husky world could be considered boring. That’s the part I need to explain. I’m not boring. I enjoy having fun like the rest of them. I just am polite and kind about it. That makes me more easily adoptable than the others, don’t you think? I guess when my coat comes back in, I’ll be a handsome guy as well – not that I’m not handsome now, but then I’ll be the cat’s meow. Do you youngsters know what that means? If not, go visit the Googlictionary. Then come back and pet me. I’ll be politely waiting.

What am I?
Spayed female Siberian husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
43 pounds (as of 9/10/2024)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. On 9/14/2024, I met children up to age 11. I was fine with them, and they enjoy me because I am super easy and gentle with them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 9/14/2024, Pet Harbor introduced me to kitties. I had the best reaction Pet Harbor has ever seen to kitties. I am completely unfazed by them. Siberian huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if Pet Harbor’s evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told I came from a home with a small dog and that I was not good with that small dog. When evaluated before coming to Pet Harbor, I was fine with my interactions with dogs except I growled when a dog was in my face. Pet Harbor learned I have a cataract in one eye, which likely contributed to the growling.
Energy Level:
Low
Owner Aptitude Level:
Novice
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Antonio A. Rocha.
History:
Running at large, I landed in an animal shelter. I was returned to my owners. This happened at least three times. Then my owners surrendered me because they said I had an issue with their small dog. We don’t know what the truth is. All we know is I was in the shelter multiple times. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.

More About Me: Bar none, the easiest Siberian ever. Seriously. Perfect for newbies, perfect for those who want a non-difficult Sibe. I think the takeaway word here is “perfect.” Besides being easy, I am super sweet. Also, I am a melodious talker. September 10, I visited the veterinarian. We learned I am about 6-8 years old. So Pet Harbor will split the difference and call me 7. Also, I have a mammary tumor that as soon as it is financially able to do so, Pet Harbor will have removed and biopsied. Rocha-raiser information coming soon if you would like to donate! As for my vision, I have a cataract in one eye. It isn’t bad and will per veterinary advice be left alone at this time. If you are looking for an easy Siberian, which isn’t a common thing, I’m your gal! See? Perfect.
