I went to my forever home on September 14, 2019!
What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
51 pounds (as of 8/31/19)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children of all ages and have had all positive interactions.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 7/14/19, Pet Harbor introduced me to a cat. I immediately reacted, not in a good way, to the kitty. My home needs to be cat-free. (Note: No kitty was harmed in this introduction, and I wasn’t either!)
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor was told I previously lived harmoniously with multiple dogs. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met other dogs from about 20-80 pounds. I interact with them all in a positive fashion until dinnertime. Then I guard my food with a vengeance.
Energy Level:
Medium-High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Northern breed experience preferred
History:
Along with others, I was part of a court case. Custody of all of us was awarded to the jurisdiction of our residence. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.
More About Me: Oh, I am so cute and cuddly. Like Charmin, you just have to squeeze. And when people see what has happened to my ears, they hug me even closer. And I soak it all up. Keep the hugs and squeezes a-comin’! I’m a small boy and I fit right in with children and dogs, too. Because of my history, I do have a touch of shyness, but it’s only a touch. I’ve got soft kisses & love for a family who gives it back to me. I’ll give it in triplicate. How’s that? I am playful, too, but mostly I want love. I’m learning what toys are. My foster mom says I need training. You can put me through training if you agree with her, but I think what I need is just love. If you happen to enjoy grooming, I’m the perfect dog for you since my coat was in such bad shape and it will take a while to get it healthy. My heartworm treatment has been completed and I can go to a new home now! So ever wanted squeezably soft Charmin?
