Age (approx):
3 years old
Birthday (approx):
August 17, 2017
What am I?
Neutered male Siberian husky
Colors:
Red & white, brown eyes
Weight:
73 pounds (as of 8/30/2020)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 7. I have been great with them and gave them gentle kisses.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 8/24/2020, Pet Harbor introduced me to cats. On that date, I was not yet neutered. When I saw a kitty, I was easily distracted away from kitty and didn’t maintain a strong focus, but I did do that drooling and mouth clicking thing that intact male dogs sometimes do when they see female dogs, especially in season. And kitty was spayed. On 9/22/2020, since I have been neutered now, Pet Harbor introduced me to cats again. They didn’t faze me one bit. I was more interested in the litter box. Siberian Huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if our evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs. When introduced to other dogs at the shelter, there were no issues. When I initially came to Pet Harbor, I met multiple dogs, all around my size. I wanted to play with them. In my prior foster home, there are two other male Siberians, both neutered. We got along great (See videos.) until I decided to establish myself as the pack boss. One of those boys didn’t like my hostile takeover attempt. In my current foster home, I’m fine with the other dogs.
Energy Level:
Medium-Low
Owner Aptitude Level:
Northern breed or large, strong dog experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Graham Andrew Berkeley.
History:
I was running at large and landed in an animal shelter. I was not claimed. So I came to Pet Harbor.
Movies:

  2. 10/3/2020 – The Nose Knows

More About Me: My prior foster pop says I’m an easy keeper. I’m a cool dude. Some think I’m strong. Some think I’m a marshmallow. I had two foster brothers. They are Siberians. One of them is the Boss. I tried to walk into the bedroom. He growled. So I turned and walked away. However, once I had been there a couple of weeks, I decided to tell him I’m the Boss. So the best home for me is where other male dogs aren’t going to challenge me. Now I am in another foster home. Micci, who was also available for adoption, was my best friend. We played & played & played & played. Then she got adopted. Now my best friend is a little Siberian puppy named Zoi. We play & play & play & play. I love toys and air conditioning, and I give children soft kisses! Yep. It’s true. I am a big marshmallow.
