More About Me: More info to come. First, Pet Harbor was told I was about 6 years old, but when I went to the vet on 1/24/2022, my vet said I’m no more than 9 months old. So that explains why I have puppy behaviors!
The one major thing to learn about me is my shyness. My history taught me to be cautious. Not only am I learning to be a dog, but I’m also learning basic life. If your life began as mine did, you’d be the same way. I’m learning and growing. Because of what I had to live through, trusting people is new to me. My foster mom is working with me, but it takes baby steps.
Please also understand while my adoption will be super rewarding for my family, it cannot be a heartstrings adoption. Adoption is a commitment for many years. It needs to be made with engagement of the brain and the heart. Adoptions made solely by a tug at the heartstrings do not work.
Patience is the most important layer my family must wear. It’s not that I don’t want love. It’s that I don’t know what love is. I am learning a lot. The more distance I put between the situation from which I came and me, the more things will improve for me. My home needs to be with people with not only patience but also gentleness, understanding, and full of lots of love to give me. Progress is progress, but it takes baby steps to get there. The rewards to humans are immense when a shy dog trusts. The journey to that point is taken by people who are kind, patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. For instance, right now, I like to hug the corners. Will you have the patience to understand? Are you my patient family waiting to love me?

More About Me: The first thing you SHOULD notice about me is how very sweet I am. The first thing you WILL notice about me is my eyes. It’s not something you see every day. I do see. I was diagnosed with canine bilateral conjunctivo-palpebral dermoids. On February 7, 2022, my ophthalmologist performed two surgeries on my eyes. My right eye, which it is assumed at some point earlier in my life ruptured, leaving me with no vision from that eye, was removed. My left eye was all cleaned up, dermoid removed, and my eyelid reconstructed. I am all fixed up now. I have had my follow-up appointments, and I’m good to go. Everybody at my eye doctor’s office just adores me. I think they want me to have more follow-up appointments just to see me. It’s hard to find a sweeter, more beautiful, more loving, more waggy, happier, more playful dog. Children at my foster home adore me because I am so wonderful and so cute and little. How could anyone not want to adopt Robby and me? We are just about the sweetest pair of dogs in the universe, our foster mom says. It grabs your heart how Robby took care of me and how I sniffed him out. Both of us seem so gentle all the time. I make people laugh, too, though, because I like to walk around with a tennis ball in my mouth or any toy, for that matter, or anything I can turn into a toy. I like to always have things in my mouth. I do steal food, too. So don’t leave a doughnut or plate sitting around anywhere. I will claim every bite. I’m a quiet gal. Besides my sweetness, I’m also gentle and huggable. My foster mom says I’m perfect except for my thievery. She’s going to have a hard time letting Robby and me go, but it is only when dogs get adopted that more dogs can be saved.

More About Me: Super sweet, I’m a teddy bear. Fifty-five pounds of melt-in-your-arms fur. My foster mom is madly in love with me because she says I’m a happy and handsome teddy with the biggest heart in the universe. Isn’t how I took care of my little sister adorable? Doesn’t everybody want a big brother like me? My sister met with her ophthalmologist February 7 and had surgeries. We are ready to find homes. While we would love to find our family together, it’s more important that we find families than that we find one together. We are a super wonderful pair. The one thing everybody notices about me after they see what a wonderful brother I am is how I have this cute “squeak and wag” thing going on. While I’m playing with my squeaky toys, I simultaneously am wagging. In fact, Robin & I never stop wagging.

More About Me: In my foster home, I’m known as the cute little girl. When I have first met people, I have seemed leery of them and stood with my tail tucked for a minute. I have pretty quickly settled in once I have realized the people are not harmful. Then I have been playful and gentle with them. Did I mention I’m cute? In my foster home, I have taken treats so gently. My foster mom thinks it’s just the cutest thing! When my foster mom asks me to give her my paw, I have had the cutest little tail swish and have offered my paw so sweetly. I will tell you the big secret my foster family has found to getting me to erase my fears: food. The secret to my heart: food. And guess what. Someone somewhere along the way has taught me commands. I have listened and obeyed pretty well in my foster home. Oh, one more thing I should mention. My eyes. I have the most beautiful eyes. They’re kind of a marbly light brown mixed with blue. So that means I’m unique, cute, tiny, obedient, and beautiful!

More About Me: Unless you like kisses, I’m not the gal for you. In my foster home, I adore the children, and they adore me. They have played with me, and I have played right alongside them. When they’ve wanted to cuddle, I’ve been putty in their hands. My foster mom thinks I’m the cat’s meow as well because while I’ve run and jumped and played like most young gals, when she tells me it’s time to calm down, I’ve also accommodated that request. Oh, and if you ate too much during the holidays, I’m your remedy. I’m told I’m a pretty strong puller. So I can help you work off those holiday pounds! My foster family thinks I’m pretty cool. I’ll bet you do as well.

More About Me: Fun. That’s what I’m about: fun. A big goofball! Here’s an example. I went outside and played in the mud with the other dogs in my foster home. So then my foster mom gave me a bath. That was fun! After the bath, I tried to play and dig in the water as it left the bathtub. You will see it in one of my videos. People can’t help but laugh at me! Even my eyes are so big I always look surprised. I keep everybody in stitches. The best thing about me is how I play with my foster boy. I love having a little buddy, and he loves playing with me. It’s a win-win if my new home has a child who will enjoy playing with me. In my foster home, I have been a shadow. I have followed everyone everywhere I can and have to be involved in whatever is happening. One more thing, I have shown my foster family I love to jump. Whether that is jumping up on people or over couches, I have been taken every opportunity to jump up I could.

More About Me: The winter holidays are upon us. That means there are Santas ringing bells on corners. You might find me in the red suit because I’m applying for one of those jobs since I like to talk, and Santa gets to talk to all the people milling about. So if you see me, come talk to me or, even better, play with me! I love to play. Nonstop. That means I’m like all the rest of the young Siberian huskies in the universe. But guess what? I do stop playing to cuddle with my foster mom. I will leave my play buddies just to go give foster mom hugs & kisses.
Pet Harbor named me after Christopher Cramer, who lost his life on 9/11, but do you know why they chose that name from the list of 2,996 victims? In Seinfeld, Elaine called Kramer a hipster doofus. I think that’s a good description of me! So I may not have his hair or wardrobe, but I think I’m as nonsensical, comical, cute, and lovable as Seinfeld’s Kramer. Check out the videos on YouTube of Kramer if you don’t know what I mean. So shut the door & watch me come sliding in it. I will definitely keep you laughing!

More About Me: Easiest keeper in the universe. If you love Siberians but not their ways, I’m the dog for you. So far I have been totally quiet, really gentle, a no-issue dog.

More About Me: Like all good Siberian huskies, I have a job. It’s an important job. I follow my foster mom everywhere to make sure she does not get lost. See how important that is? Don’t ask her. She might not think it’s so important. In fact, I’m not sure I’d want to see her performance evaluation of my following her everywhere. Other people would give better reviews. You see, I’m quite the charmer. Everywhere I go, people fall in love with me. My foster mom had to stand in line to take me to the vet. People were having their pictures taken with me while we were waiting in line! So if you want a true evaluation, either ask someone else or ask my foster mom when I’m not following her.
My most favorite thing in the world besides cuddling and kissing is food. I am super food-motivated. In fact, after I eat my supper, I cry to have my foster siblings’ meals as well. They never allow it. I have to come up with a Plan B.
Besides cuddling, kissing, and food, did I mention I enjoy squeaky toys? So I could live happily with other dogs or happily just with squeakies. . . and food, of course, food . . . and kisses and cuddles.
