More About Me: Siberian huskies need jobs. Boredom creates havoc with them. Do I have a job? Of course, I do! I am a drum majorette. That person (or dog as the case may be) who leads the rest and prances with her head and tail held high and maybe carrying a stick, that person/dog, that would be me. I am a regular youngster, as playful as I can be. I refuel and play again. It’s a way of life for me. All toys are mine. I’m very good about playing with my toys and leaving things alone that don’t belong to me. My foster dad has taught me commands, but, remember, I am a Siberian husky. Whether I listen or not is a whole different story. The one thing he tries to teach me that I refuse to acknowledge is fetch. I will go after the ball. I just won’t bring it back. Doesn’t that tell you I’m a true Siberian husky? One cute trick my foster dad says I have is self-untangling from a leash. Isn’t that cute? I’m a loving little girl, too, very happy. I mean, how many sad drum majorettes have you ever known? My foster family says I melt into people as if I’m butter, and I love to go belly up and get tummy scratches.

I have a lot to say, and it overfloweth continuously. Please don’t think you will sleep. Sleep, after all, is overrated. Besides, I have lots of affection to give, kisses, paws, closeness, in very dramatic fashion, so much so that it’s bound to overshadow the nonstop speaking. More About Me: Ages can be deceiving. I mean, they’re only a guess anyway, but I act like a puppy. I have tons of energy. Well, I am a Siberian husky. I guess since you are on this page, you already know that means energy. When I came to rescue, I was, as you can see in the photos, very thin. Fortunately for me, I have been food-motivated, and my foster home has been able to put some meat on my bones. In my foster home, my two favorite things behind food have been cuddling with people and playing with dogs. I love both of those things equally. Probably one more thing I should mention. I guess you know Siberian huskies are not quiet dogs. Yeah, I’m definitely a Siberian. I would not be a good candidate for an apartment or a library. Two words I just don’t understand are “Shut up!”

I was loved, but my mom ended up with a medical issue that meant she could not keep me. I am a good boy and have been really well-trained.

More About Me: Pet Harbor will tell you I am one of the best dogs they’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. I am absolutely the happiest, most loving, sweetest girl in the universe. No one can say, “She likes ME!” because I like EVERYBODY! Correction. I LOVE everybody! I want to climb in everyone’s lap while smiling and wagging my tail at its fullest. I go from one lap to the next. Showers of kisses. People of all ages are just fine with me. And other than at adoption events, I’ve not shown any issues with dogs or cats. Rabbits, that’s a different story, but dogs and cats and people have all been just wonderful with me. And I’m not a pushy powerhouse. I’m a lady. Seriously, Pet Harbor calls me a “refreshing difference.” My name was Helena. Pet Harbor changed it to Helene to honor a 9/11 victim.
