Age:

Birthday:

What am I?
Spayed female Siberian husky mix
Colors:
Tan & white, brown eyes
Weight:
13.7 pounds (as of 12/1/2021)
Experience with Children:
I’m a puppy. Great with everything, subject to change as I get older.
Experience with Cats:
The best choice for a home with cats is an adult Siberian husky who has been introduced to cats and shown a positive reaction to them. All Siberian husky puppies are cat-friendly, but they often are not when they are a few months old. These puppies are mixes. So we don’t have a clue if as adult dogs, they will or won’t try to harm a cat.
Experience with Dogs:
I’m a puppy. Great with everything, subject to change as I get older.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed or puppy experience required
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Michael G. Montesi and to honor a Pet Harbor foster family.
History:
My siblings and I were born at Pet Harbor. Giselle, a pup herself, also available for adoption, is our mom. Although it was known to no one, our mom was pregnant when she came to Pet Harbor. On 9/25/2021, she gave birth to six of us.
Movies:
  1. 10/24/2021 – Just a Little Puppy Tale
  2. 10/23/2021 – Lap of Pupxury
  3. 10/21/2021 – Squeezable
  4. 10/20/2021 – Barrel of Laughs

More About Me: Of course, I am like all the rest of the puppies in the universe. Cute. Cuddly. Snuggly. Untrained. Full of sharp teeth and nails. Lots of pottying everywhere. Puppy breath. Mischievous. Sleepy. Playful. Fun. Not a care in the world. Clay to mold. But guess what. We do grow up!

Our personalities have become apparent. I’m the puppy who loves people, I’d say the most, but the others might dispute that. I play, run, jump with the rest of them, but I have to constantly go to the people during my play just to get my lovings. I love when they hold me and cuddle me. I am the favorite of the 5yo child in my foster home.

Pet Harbor had DNA testing done for one of us. They chose Britton. The DNA results are here.

Our personalities have become apparent. I’m the puppy who reminds my foster grandma of Marmaduke. I’m the big brother. When I run and jump, I’m kind of like a galoot. In the beginning, Harrington & I volleyed for the title of the biggest puppy. Once I took the ribbon, I ran with it. Though I am as happy & playful as the rest of them and like to play with the group or by myself, if you see the rest and can’t find me, look for the food bowl. I’m usually lying by it snacking from it.

As soon as my family is found, I am ready to go home. Pet Harbor had DNA testing done for one of us. They chose Britton. The DNA results are here.

Age (approx):

What am I?
Spayed female Siberian husky
Colors:
Black & white, bi-eyed (one blue eye, one brown eye)
Weight:
42 pounds (as of 9/3/2021)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met children up to age 8 and have been fine with them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 9/12/2021, Pet Harbor introduced me to cats. I mostly ignored them. I was more concerned with the noise of the ceiling fan and the scary look of the silent vacuum cleaner. Siberian huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if our evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.
Experience with Dogs:
At the shelter, I was introduced to a female dog and did well with her. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met multiple dogs, all around my size. I have been great with them. In fact, Drake, also available for adoption, I have claimed as my boyfriend.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Abdu Ali Malahi.
History:
In June, running at large, I landed in a county animal shelter. I was returned to my owners. Two months later, they surrendered me to the same shelter, with the excuse “Escapes.” I guess they did not realize I am a Siberian husky and that’s what we do. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.
Movies:
  1. 8/19/2021 – Mala Meets Dog

More About Me: I’m beautiful, and I know it. I use that beauty to my advantage. No one is ever sad around me. I don’t allow sadness. I schmooze with the other dogs. Some say I play the field. Does that mean I am a football player? I’m certainly not! But I do like to switch boyfriends by the hour. Is it wrong to spread happiness? Besides my long dance card, what you should know about me is I’m a loving, comical Siberian husky pup. So if that’s what you seek, you have found her!
