Experience with Children:

Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have been great with the children I have met. I go out of my way to try to be around them.

Experience with Cats:

Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. Pet Harbor introduced me to cats. I stiffened and honed in my focus on the cats. The following day, I showed a more favorable response. By the third intro, I have interacted with them just fine, up close & personal, even kittens. But then on the fourth intro, I scared the volunteers because I met three cats separately, and I had an intent, unbreakable focus on them. So Pet Harbor really isn’t sure cats are safe around me and would say choose at your own risk. Siberian huskies tend to have a strong prey instinct and often show extreme, even fatal, aggression towards cats. Even if Pet Harbor’s evaluation is favorable, it may not translate to all cats under all circumstances.

Experience with Dogs:

Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs except that I was great with them when evaluated in a shelter before coming to Pet Harbor. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met multiple dogs and have been fine with all of them. They have all been around my size.

More About Me: Best word to describe me is fun. Well, I’m also full of love. So fun and love. There we go. Two. And my two favorite things in the universe are children and toys. I love playing with them both. Toss a toy up in the air, and I become animated. Bring a child into the room, and I become a happy, happy girl! Truth be told, I’m as sweet as, well, Candy.

Pet Harbor does not know my history with children. I have been very loving to the children I have met in foster care. I seem to gravitate towards them.

Experience with Cats:

Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 12/27/2024. Pet Harbor introduced me to cats. I didn’t try to harm them, but I did maintain an intent focus. So let’s say the jury is still out.

Experience with Dogs:

Pet Harbor does not know my history with dogs except that I was found stray with Alva, who already found a home, who perhaps is my littermate, and that I was great with other dogs when evaluated in a shelter before coming to Pet Harbor. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have been great with dogs I’ve met, including small dogs. I am a female Siberian. Female Siberians can have — what’s the word? — pugnacity with other dogs. That would be me.

More About Me: Love. That is the best way to describe me, and it describes me perfectly. I love. I want to be loved. I want to be as close as I can get to you and shower you with kisses. I would sit in your lap if you would be so kind as to allow that. Though children are my favorite, I really love all people. I always gravitate towards people. I mean, I enjoy playing with other dogs, but given a choice, people are my magnet. Oh, another thing you should know about me is my grooming needs. You see my long hair? It needs quite a bit of brushing.

Pet Harbor does not know my history with cats. On 12/15/2024, Pet Harbor introduced me to cats. I barked at the cats and showed more interest than the volunteers hoped to see. So it’s probably best I have a cat-free home.

More About Me: Easy keeper. I’m not a big fan of crates, but I really don’t need them. I do nothing wrong when left alone in my foster home. I’m a snuggler, a cuddler, a lover. I play well with dogs and people. Male Siberian huskies are supposed to be between 45 and 60. Many in shelters and rescue are really big. I’m on the small side of that scale, which is just perfect my foster mom says. Actually, she says I’m perfect in all ways.
