What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
Colors:
Red & white, one brown eye, one parti eye (both blue & brown in the same eye)
Weight:
48 pounds (as of 6/10/17)
Experience with Children:
My history with children is unknown. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have interacted with multiple children ages 0 to 18 and have displayed only positive reactions to them.
Experience with Cats:
Along with Pearl, also available for adoption, I landed in an animal shelter having been accused of killing a cat. So I cannot live with cats.
Experience with Dogs:
My history is unknown to Pet Harbor. However, I was running at large with Pearl. Not only do we get along great, but we are probably related. Pet Harbor doesn’t know for sure. Since coming to Pet Harbor, our roles have changed. I was a leader, and Pearl was my follower. Now we are equal leaders. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have met several dogs my size, male and female. We have no issues. At first, I felt I had to tell them I was the Queen Bee, but I quickly mellowed.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience required
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Keith Roma.
History:
For the crime of running at large, Pearl, also available for adoption, and I landed in a county animal shelter. It is alleged we killed a cat. From there, we came to Pet Harbor.
Movies:
  1. Spring is Planting Time, after all!
  2. Strolling along with my sister
  3. See me play with the pack!
  4. I love walks and belly rubs

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: I’m as much fun as a barrel of monkeys. One Siberian is better than monkeys in a barrel any day! Watch your pinky because I will wrap around it pretty quickly. I’ll get into mischief and show you my baby blue and brown eyes and pearly whites and you will forget whatever its as I did. Girls just wanna have fun. I will play with other dogs to my heart’s content. And I have a job. I work hard at my job. I am a protector. I will protect my home, guarding the house against stuffed animals and tapestry pillows that look like Siberian Husky heads. True story. Oh, did I mention that while I’m giving you kisses, I’m also plotting my next caper? I’m no dummy! There is a method to my madness. Told you I’m good at my job. Maybe it’s time to ask for a raise. A few more treats should be in order! It would be nice if Pearl and I could be adopted together, but it is not a requirement.

Spayed female Siberian Husky
Colors:

Weight:
55 pounds (as of 6/10/17)
Experience with Children:
My history with children is unknown. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have interacted with multiple children ages 0 to 18 and have displayed only positive reactions to them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor was informed my history is that I am not good with cats. Pet Harbor tested me for cat-friendliness, and I failed the test. Therefore, Pet Harbor will not place me in a home where cats live.
Experience with Dogs:
My history is I lived with Jamey, also available for adoption from Pet Harbor Rescue, who is my sister. Since coming to Pet Harbor, all of my interactions with the dogs I have met have been positive. All the dogs I have met are my size and larger.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience required
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Brian L. Jones.
History:
My sister Jamey and I were running at large. We ended up in a county animal shelter. This was not the first time. Our “owners” were notified and chose not to pay our bail this time. From there, we came to Pet Harbor Rescue.
Movies:
  1. Born to Run!
  2. With my sister Jamey, there are cuddles all around!
  3. See me play with the pack!
  4. Belly rubs are utter bliss!

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Am I not the most beautiful Siberian you have ever seen? Well, I think I am! I am sweet and quiet. I love to love and to be loved, I am kind and polite, but I am also a Siberian Husky pup. So that means I have tons of energy and get into pretty much anything and everything. The good news is I am not a drama queen, like my sister Jamey is. You, therefore, should not pay attention to anything she has to say. But, I must say that Jamey and I are a bonded pair, and we would be so happy to go to our forever home together. It is, however, not a requirement. It’s more important that we get a home or homes than that we share a home. I am as cute as I can be. You won’t know whether to laugh or cry at my antics, but I am so loving I can easily get you to focus on that, instead of whatever I got into today!

What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky

Experience with Children:
My history with children is unknown. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have interacted with multiple children ages 0 to 18 and have displayed only positive reactions to them. In fact, the toddler in my foster home calls me “my puppy.” Like Goldilocks, he thinks I am just right, not too boisterous, not standoffish.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor was informed my history is that I am not good with cats. Pet Harbor tested me for cat-friendliness, and I failed the test. Therefore, Pet Harbor will not place me in a home where cats live.
Experience with Dogs:
My history is I lived with Bri, already adopted, who is my sister. Since coming to Pet Harbor, all of my interactions with the dogs I have met have been positive. I have met dogs of all sizes.
Energy Level:

Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience is a plus!
Named for 9/11 Victim:

History:
My sister Bri and I were running at large. We ended up in a county animal shelter. This was not the first time. Our “owners” were notified and chose not to pay our bail this time. From there, we came to Pet Harbor Rescue.
Movies:
  1. Workout!
  2. With my sister Bri, there are cuddles all around!
  3. Jamey v. a Teddy Bear
  4. See me play with the pack!
  5. Given the choice to train or play, I choose play

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Am I not the most beautiful Siberian you have ever seen? My sister Bri thinks she is the prettiest, but the truth is I am. Even though I know Bri calls me a drama queen, too, I prefer to say that I do everything with gusto. I am the utmost. If you have a kiss for me and you are tall, well, I will just jump up to get it. If there is something I want, I will get it, usually by giving easy kisses and batting my eyelashes. I also will join conversations to let you know what I have to say. See? Gusto. Nothing but love for all my people, young and old, is what I bring to the table. I have tons of love in me and really enjoy cuddles and kisses, but I also am a Siberian Husky pup. So that means I will get into pretty much anything and everything. A good training class would be great! I am as cute as I can be. In my foster home, the toddler is in love with me, and I am gentle with him. I’m never unhappy. Even if you fuss at me, I will wag my tail and turn up my charm. You won’t know whether to laugh or cry at my antics. For example, my favorite thing to do is play with ice cubes and empty water bottles. Oh, the excitement!

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Grey & white, blue eyes
Weight:
68 pounds (as of 4/8/17)
Experience with Children:
Not a lot about my history is known. All that is known is from Nov 2016 to April 2017, I lived with children, with no issues reported to Pet Harbor. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have interacted with a 3-year-old child and have displayed only positive reactions to him.
Experience with Cats:
I have a reported history of killing multiple small animals. So to keep the cats safe, Pet Harbor will neither cat-test me nor place me in a home with cats.
Experience with Dogs:
My history with dogs is unknown. Pet Harbor tested me with dogs similar in size to me, and I had positive reactions, even to the grumpy one. I wagged my tail and sought play. Since coming to foster care, I have had only positive interactions with females and non-dominant males in foster care. To dominant male dogs, I bark and grumble, wagging my tail the whole time, but don’t fight. In other words, I’ll puff out my chest and flap my wings, but I’m all bark. How’s that for combining literary expressions? All the dogs Pet Harbor has seen me interact with in foster care are about 40 pounds and up.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Northern breed experience required
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Felicia Hamilton.
History:
Pet Harbor does not know my history prior to Nov 2016. In Nov 2016, people got me from a Craigslist ad and did not take care of me. As a result, several animals, such as chickens, opossums, and a baby pig, sadly, lost their lives. So that no more animals would die, I came to Pet Harbor.
Movies:

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: First and foremost, you must understand Siberian Huskies. That means you cannot consider me a lawn ornament. I belong in the house with the rest of my family. When I exercise, I must have a tall fence. I am too smart to create my own fences where fences do not already exist. I am, after all, a Siberian Husky and true to my breed. Speaking of lawn ornaments, also true to my breed, I will be happy to landscape for you if you leave me unattended outside. Siberians should have jobs, right? I’m a loving and quite happy boy who likes to wag a lot. There is no such thing as being depressed around me. I am the eternal happimist (happy optimist). The love you show me, I will return several times over. And am I not the most handsome fellow you have ever seen?

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
Experience with Children:
Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have interacted with young children. I give them kisses and wag my tail. Tiny tots might be afraid of my size and exuberance, but I love them.
Experience with Cats:
Because I have a high prey drive and, for some silly reason, Pet Harbor cares about kitty safety, Pet Harbor will not allow me to live with cats.
Experience with Dogs:
Every dog I’ve met at Pet Harbor has been my play buddy. All the dogs I’ve met weigh 40-70 pounds.
Energy Level:
Low
Owner Aptitude Level:
Novice
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Elkin Yuen.
History:
For the crime of being homeless, I was sentenced to time in an animal shelter. After serving my time, I came to Pet Harbor.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: 2017 is here! Need a workout buddy? Resistance training? Strength exercises? Running partner? Motivator? My paw is raised. Pick me! Let’s go through 2017 right–together! I love, love, love people, and I am so strong and so enthusiastic that you cannot and will not have a dull moment around me ever. I love dogs just as much as people. For comic relief, watch me play with dogs. If they lie on the floor, I like to leap over them back & forth until they get up to play with me. See? I told you I’m a great motivator! So what are you waiting for? Let’s get moving!

***IN HEARTWORM TREATMENT*** Tentatively available to go to my forever home in mid-May
Age (approx):

Birthday (approx):
March 10, 2015
What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
50 pounds (as of 4/10/17)
Experience with Children:
My history with children is unknown. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have interacted with children ages 0-18 and have displayed only positive reactions to them.
Experience with Cats:
My history with cats is unknown. So far, Pet Harbor has only done a preliminary cat test. During that test, I glanced at the kitties and lost interest. That is not yet a definitive test. An outside cat ran into my foster home. Like a good Siberian Husky, I grabbed it. Outside cats are prey, and I was protecting my foster home from that rodent! After heartworm treatment, I will be re-tested and the results will be posted here.
Experience with Dogs:
My history with dogs is unknown. I have met small dogs and play with them. I have met dogs my size and play with them. I have met larger dogs and play with them. I am, though, what one could consider a typical dominant female Siberian. Women rule!
Energy Level:
Medium
Owner Aptitude Level:
Northern breed experience preferred
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Elizabeth (Lisa) Martin Gregg.
History:
For the crime of running at large, I landed myself in the pokey and came to Pet Harbor from there.
Movies:

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Do you think you have a couch? Forget about it! It’s mine. Do you think you have a bed? Forget about it! It’s mine. Do you think you can ignore me? Forget about it! I have plenty to say about that. My voice is melodious, though. So basically I do whatever is in my repertoire to get your attention. I go belly-up for tummy scratches. I look into your eyes and woo if you attempt to do something other than give me attention. I give you soft “Pick me!” kisses to raise my hand (paw). Lots of soft, fluffy fur that would love to sit with you while you brush it! Full of love. Just looking for a place to plant it (and a couch to plant my hiney). I did test positive for heartworm disease. So while you can certainly adopt me on paper, I cannot be considered fully adopted until my treatment has finished, which should be by the middle of May.

Experience with Children:
My history with children is unknown. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have interacted with multiple children ages 0 to 18, and have displayed only positive reactions to them.
Experience with Cats:
My history with cats is unknown. I quickly failed Pet Harbor’s cat test. I focused intently on the cats and tried incessantly to get to them, not in a good way. For example, hear what I do when I see a cat on the other side of the door.
Experience with Dogs:
My history with dogs is unknown. I passed the initial dog test without issue. In foster care, I have mostly ignored other dogs because my desire is to spend 100% of my time with humans. However, I have expressed dislike of dominant male dogs. With the females and non-dominant males, though, I have had only positive interactions. All the dogs in foster care are 40 pounds and up.

Owner Aptitude Level:

Named for 9/11 Victim:

History:
I landed myself in a rural shelter because I killed a goat. Instead of paying my bail, my owner chose to sign me over to the shelter. I was hungry. Isn’t there a legitimate Meals on Hooves program?
Movies:
Coming soon!

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: My foster mom can’t understand why my former humans abandoned me. After all, is it my fault I escaped? Perhaps had I been neutered, I might not have escaped. Perhaps had goats not lived down the road, I might not have escaped. Perhaps if I were not a Siberian Husky, I might not have escaped. Really, my foster mom doesn’t understand. She says I must have been left outside and tried to get inside because all I want to do is curl up next to my humans. I want to play with them, be with them, let them pet me, give them kisses. The only time I even want to be outside is when that is where my humans are. My foster mom says I’m just about the sweetest dog in the world. If you are lucky enough to become my humans, there is no way you will ever feel unloved.

Weight:
32 pounds (as of 3/1/17)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my prior history with children. I am new to Pet Harbor. Since coming to foster care, I have met children ages 0 and 3. I love them, but I am very much an in-your-face pup. Also, I am all puppy. While I’m gentle and kind, I do use my mouth on arms in play and I am rambunctious. So if your children understand that, we’re great!
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my prior history with cats. My initial cat test at Pet Harbor showed I was a little intimidated by the cats, but I had just gotten to foster care. This test was repeated on 3/12/17. So cats swished in/around/under me. I completely ignored them. No negative reactions at all.
Experience with Dogs:
Before coming to Pet Harbor, I lived with Alex, also available for adoption; and a small dog. Alex and I get along great. At Pet Harbor, I have met dogs similar in size to me and larger. I get along famously with them all. As I am all puppy, I frequently entice them in play.
Energy Level:

Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience is a plus!
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Brian Anthony Moss.
History:
Alex, also available for adoption, and I were dumped in a shelter with the excuse that our humans no longer had time for us. Alex and I are not littermates, but we supposedly came from the same “breeder,” although other untruths were uncovered in our former people’s story. So who knows where the truth lies?
Movies:
  1. Play with me! Play with me! Pretty please?

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Must. Have. Oranges. My favorite toy is a good old Clementine rolling across the floor. I pounce, play bow, wag, pick it up in my mouth, and run with it. Truth be told, really, all things are my toys. I am especially fond of people and dogs, all people, all dogs. Yes, I mouth, meaning I will put your fingers, your arm, my leash, anything, everything, in my mouth. Just like any baby. My mind is focused on play 24/7/365. So are you ready for animation? If so, then you are ready for me! Oh, and if you have oranges!

  1. I’m a Snuggler.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: I’m a money saver. I’m the perfect dog for the winter. I snuggle up to you, as close as I can get. So forget heating costs, blankets, firewood. All you need is me! I’m a complete love bug, sticking as close to my chosen human as I can get. Though my build is on the tiny side, I do need groceries! So hopefully my family will continue helping me get to an appropriate weight. Around 45 pounds is where I should be. I’m really the sweetest dog you’ll ever have a chance to meet.

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:

Weight:
111 pounds 🙁 (as of 3/26/17)
Experience with Children:
I have lived with children, including one with special needs, since 2012 with all positive interactions.
Experience with Cats:
I was cat-tested by Pet Harbor in 2012 and failed miserably.
Experience with Dogs:
From 2012 to 2017, I lived with a male Pomeranian. My interactions with other dogs Pet Harbor has witnessed have all been positive, including dogs of various sizes at dog parks.
Energy Level:
Low but will be medium when I return to a healthy weight.
Owner Aptitude Level:
Novice, but you MUST help me continue on my weight loss path so we can have a long, healthy, and happy life together.
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Ronald Tartaro.
History:
I lost my first home when I was 1-1/2 years old because my human decided he no longer had time for me. I then was adopted in March 2012. In 2017, I lost my second home because my human decided he no longer had time for me. ENOUGH! It is time I have my forever home. No more homelessness and no more abuse. For my human to allow my weight to be DOUBLE what it should be is abusive. NO MORE! I want to live!
Movies:
  1. March 2017. To celebrate International Puppy Day, why, I play with a puppy, of course!
  2. March 2017. Let’s congregate!
  3. In 2012, I starred in Playtime at the Apollo

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: MY 2017 BIO: Do you know what an IFD is? Why, it’s an issue-free dog, of course. Some think perfect dogs are boring. I think perfect dogs are just that: perfect! Why do I think that? Because I wrote the definition of IFD! That’s why! So issue-free, I’ll bet I could get a security clearance! Sadly, someone has sabotaged my existence by allowing me to weigh double what I should. Extra weight on someone my size can be devastating to the joints. My foster dad, though, is helping me get back to a healthy weight. So that is my only issue, and it is certainly a temporary one. Do you want to go to dog parks? No problem at all! I socialize with all the dogs: young, old, small, large, male, female. A perfect Casanova, huh? Speaking of Casanova, I hope you enjoy kisses because I’ve got plenty of them for you. And, of course, if you love to give belly scratches, no problem! I”m all yours! Do you need exercise like I do? No problem. Let’s go! I love to walk, and I am building up my stamina. Soon, I’ll be happily taking long, long walks or even running! I look forward to the day I can really run and play with my Siberian brethren. Happy, healthy (My weight has not affected my health yet, and it won’t because I’m on the downhill side of it.), loving, friendly. Really, I go back to the beginning. I’m an issue-free dog.

MY 2012 BIO: Best home for me is totally ready for a PUPPY because I am ALL PUPPY! Complete goofball. Loving, funny, high-energy, dramatic, loud, a big sissy. I can live with other dogs or without other dogs, but I’m not a dog you can ignore. I don’t stop for a minute. I’m like a 2-yr-old child – always on the go, go, go. When I sit, I push into you. When I stand, I jump, bounce, kiss, play. No down time. I’m not a quiet dog and, therefore, would not be a good apartment dog. I would, however, be a great dog for someone who wants built-in entertainment. My main job is that of a clown! My second job is like Charmin because I’m so adorable you just wanna squeeze!
