What am I?
Spayed female Domestic Shorthair
Colors:
Mackerel orange tabby & white
Weight:
5 pounds (as of 3/22/17)
Experience with Children:
In my foster home, I have interacted with children of all ages. I am often found curled up on their laps. When they get super noisy and rowdy, same as with all good kitties, it’s time for my catnap in another room, but other times, you will find me right there with them.
Experience with Cats:
Since I have been in foster care, I have had only positive reactions to all cats.
Experience with Dogs:
I have met dogs in the 50-75 pound range at my foster home. Like all cats, I prefer the ones who aren’t bonkers, but the others are just fine.
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Monica Goldstein.
History:
I came from an animal shelter, after being confiscated from an animal hoarder.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Looks? Sweet disposition? Not afraid to spend the day in someone’s lap? Well, that describes me! This beautiful little lap warmer, me, is looking for YOU! As you’ll see in my video, loving on children is my specialty, but adults do get the same love and attention if they want it. Even if you don’t have a child in the home or other cats, I would still be the perfect match if you’re looking for a dainty little lady with a heart of Gold(ie)!

What am I?
Neutered male Domestic Shorthair
Colors:
Orange tabby & white
Weight:
9 pounds (as of 3/22/17)
Experience with Children:
The toddler in my foster home has claimed me as his because I love him. I don’t seem to mind his energy level as long as he has time for me! I love to curl up with him to sleep.
Experience with Cats:
I tolerate other cats, but, truth be told, I can’t get enough lovin’ from people. So why should other kitties horn in?
Experience with Dogs:
I have met dogs in the 50-75 pound range at my foster home. Like all cats, I prefer the ones who aren’t bonkers, but the others are just fine.
Named for 9/11 Victim:
History:
I was abandoned by my owners in the cold when they moved. I kept scratching on the door to get back in the house. The neighbors helped me get to safety.
Movies:
  1. March 2017. For me, the greatest joy in life is children, children, and more children
  2. Christmas 2011 I star in Up Close & Personal
  3. Christmas 2011 Snuggle Blanket
  4. Lots of Lovin’ in Christmas 2010.
  5. With Donald, I co-star during Christmas 2010 in Cuddle Cat.
  6. December 2011. I really am a Snuggle Couch Bunny, which you’ll see in all my movies, this one starring with Marlyn, who found a home already

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: WANTED: Humans who enjoy a cat who will love them to pieces. CAUTION: MUST LOVE SNUGGLES! Whether I am being carried around like a baby by a child or curled up in your lap on the couch, I will be thrilled. Other cats and dogs can share the couch as long as I am the one on your lap! Humans are like air and water to me. I want to share my space with them constantly. Though I will stake claim to your lap, never you fear. I reward you with lots and lots and lots of lovin’! I am a definite home body who just can’t get enough lovin’. No matter where you are in the home, if there’s a lap to sit in, there am I.

What better cat to represent St. Patrick’s Day’s month but our own redheaded O’Grady. O’Grady has been patiently awaiting a forever home for years. He’s animated. His best friend is Rosenthal. He loves other kitties. And St. Patrick’s Day would be the perfect day to take O’Grady home. It would be the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for you and for O’Grady!

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Red & white, brown eyes
Weight:
32 pounds (as of 3/1/17)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my prior history with children. I am new to Pet Harbor. Since coming to foster care, I have met children ages 0 and 3. I love them, but I am very much an in-your-face pup. Also, I am all puppy. While I’m gentle and kind, I do use my mouth on arms in play and I am rambunctious. So if your children understand that, we’re great!
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my prior history with cats. My initial cat test at Pet Harbor showed I was a little intimidated by the cats, but I had just gotten to foster care. This test was repeated on 3/12/17. So cats swished in/around/under me. I completely ignored them. No negative reactions at all.
Experience with Dogs:
Before coming to Pet Harbor, I lived with Alex, also available for adoption; and a small dog. Alex and I get along great. At Pet Harbor, I have met dogs similar in size to me and larger. I get along famously with them all. As I am all puppy, I frequently entice them in play.
Energy Level:
High
Owner Aptitude Level:
Young Northern breed experience is a plus!
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Brian Anthony Moss.
History:
Alex, also available for adoption, and I were dumped in a shelter with the excuse that our humans no longer had time for us. Alex and I are not littermates, but we supposedly came from the same “breeder,” although other untruths were uncovered in our former people’s story. So who knows where the truth lies?
Movies:
  1. Play with me! Play with me! Pretty please?

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Must. Have. Oranges. My favorite toy is a good old Clementine rolling across the floor. I pounce, play bow, wag, pick it up in my mouth, and run with it. Truth be told, really, all things are my toys. I am especially fond of people and dogs, all people, all dogs. Yes, I mouth, meaning I will put your fingers, your arm, my leash, anything, everything, in my mouth. Just like any baby. My mind is focused on play 24/7/365. So are you ready for animation? If so, then you are ready for me! Oh, and if you have oranges!

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky

Weight:
33 pounds (as of 3/1/17)
Experience with Children:
Pet Harbor does not know my prior history with children. I am new to Pet Harbor. So far since coming to rescue, I have met children ages 0 and 3. I am fine with them, but unless they purposely seek me out, I mostly ignore them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor does not know my prior history with cats. My initial cat test at Pet Harbor showed I was a little intimidated by the cats, but I had just gotten to foster care. This test was repeated on 3/12/17. I did not react negatively. I did show a little interest but nothing at all negative.
Experience with Dogs:
Before coming to Pet Harbor, I lived with Moss, also available for adoption, as well as a small dog. We get along great. At Pet Harbor, I have met dogs similar in size to me and larger. I get along famously with them all. I frequently entice them in play.

Movies:
  1. I’m a Snuggler.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: I’m a money saver. I’m the perfect dog for the winter. I snuggle up to you, as close as I can get. So forget heating costs, blankets, firewood. All you need is me! I’m a complete love bug, sticking as close to my chosen human as I can get. Though my build is on the tiny side, I do need groceries! So hopefully my family will continue helping me get to an appropriate weight. Around 45 pounds is where I should be. I’m really the sweetest dog you’ll ever have a chance to meet.

What am I?
Neutered male Siberian Husky
Colors:
Black & white, blue eyes
Weight:
111 pounds 🙁 (as of 3/26/17)
Experience with Children:
I have lived with children, including one with special needs, since 2012 with all positive interactions.
Experience with Cats:
I was cat-tested by Pet Harbor in 2012 and failed miserably.
Experience with Dogs:
From 2012 to 2017, I lived with a male Pomeranian. My interactions with other dogs Pet Harbor has witnessed have all been positive, including dogs of various sizes at dog parks.
Energy Level:
Low but will be medium when I return to a healthy weight.
Owner Aptitude Level:
Novice, but you MUST help me continue on my weight loss path so we can have a long, healthy, and happy life together.
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Ronald Tartaro.
History:
I lost my first home when I was 1-1/2 years old because my human decided he no longer had time for me. I then was adopted in March 2012. In 2017, I lost my second home because my human decided he no longer had time for me. ENOUGH! It is time I have my forever home. No more homelessness and no more abuse. For my human to allow my weight to be DOUBLE what it should be is abusive. NO MORE! I want to live!
Movies:
  1. March 2017. To celebrate International Puppy Day, why, I play with a puppy, of course!
  2. March 2017. Let’s congregate!
  3. In 2012, I starred in Playtime at the Apollo

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: MY 2017 BIO: Do you know what an IFD is? Why, it’s an issue-free dog, of course. Some think perfect dogs are boring. I think perfect dogs are just that: perfect! Why do I think that? Because I wrote the definition of IFD! That’s why! So issue-free, I’ll bet I could get a security clearance! Sadly, someone has sabotaged my existence by allowing me to weigh double what I should. Extra weight on someone my size can be devastating to the joints. My foster dad, though, is helping me get back to a healthy weight. So that is my only issue, and it is certainly a temporary one. Do you want to go to dog parks? No problem at all! I socialize with all the dogs: young, old, small, large, male, female. A perfect Casanova, huh? Speaking of Casanova, I hope you enjoy kisses because I’ve got plenty of them for you. And, of course, if you love to give belly scratches, no problem! I”m all yours! Do you need exercise like I do? No problem. Let’s go! I love to walk, and I am building up my stamina. Soon, I’ll be happily taking long, long walks or even running! I look forward to the day I can really run and play with my Siberian brethren. Happy, healthy (My weight has not affected my health yet, and it won’t because I’m on the downhill side of it.), loving, friendly. Really, I go back to the beginning. I’m an issue-free dog.

MY 2012 BIO: Best home for me is totally ready for a PUPPY because I am ALL PUPPY! Complete goofball. Loving, funny, high-energy, dramatic, loud, a big sissy. I can live with other dogs or without other dogs, but I’m not a dog you can ignore. I don’t stop for a minute. I’m like a 2-yr-old child – always on the go, go, go. When I sit, I push into you. When I stand, I jump, bounce, kiss, play. No down time. I’m not a quiet dog and, therefore, would not be a good apartment dog. I would, however, be a great dog for someone who wants built-in entertainment. My main job is that of a clown! My second job is like Charmin because I’m so adorable you just wanna squeeze!

What am I?
Spayed female Siberian Husky
Colors:
Red & white, blue eyes
Weight:
61 pounds (as of 6/10/17)
Experience with Children:
My history with children is unknown. Since coming to Pet Harbor, I have interacted with multiple children ages 0 to 18, and have displayed only positive reactions to them. When I approach a group of people, the first ones I greet are the children. I nuzzle up and kiss their faces. When they pet me, I go belly up and exhibit no tension. Their sudden, erratic movements, loudness, or rough touches don’t bring reactions from me.
Experience with Cats:
On 3/12/17, I was cat-tested. I rushed the cats and bit a kitty’s foot. No, no cat was harmed in the test, but I am unable to live safely with cats. Before coming to rescue, I was tested with a shelter cat described as “fearless” and “spunky.” I was not reactive.
Experience with Dogs:
Before coming to Pet Harbor, I lived with Rhodes, who already found his forever home. We had no issues with one another. At Pet Harbor, I have met many dogs similar in size to me. I get along with them all. However, at events or walking on leash, I act like that other name for female dogs that starts with a b towards other dogs, snappy/growly, what my foster mom says is typical female Siberian Husky behavior. I was adopted with Taro and was bossy to Taro. So I came back to Pet Harbor. I am in a foster home. Sebastian, who already found his forever home, was my foster mate while he was with Pet Harbor. We had no issues with one another. As you can see in the photos, I have spent time with other dogs without any negative issues whatsoever.
Energy Level:
Medium
Owner Aptitude Level:
Novice
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Manuel Dejesus Molina.
History:
My humans were elderly and found they just could no longer take care of me. My human dad put Rhodes, who already found his forever home, and me into a shelter. While doing so, he sobbed because it broke his heart to lose us. You will see my parents took great care of us. We’re happy, well-fed babies with awesome personalities.
Movies:
  1. I am Molina. I will melt in your hands!
  2. Just a cameo
  3. Always the center of attention

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: All I really want is someone to snuggle with me. Are you my snuggler? Just give me a few ear, tummy, or back scratches, and I’ll be putty in your paws. Toss me a few treats, and you’ve got an idolizer! Really, I’m sweet and not rambunctious. I have no clue why anyone would want to look further than me. Besides that, I’m super beautiful. Don’t you agree? Happy, too. Always happy. My only negative is I cannot be contained alone in a crate, but I’ll bet you feel the same and don’t want to be in crates either. Right? My favorite pastime besides snuggling is chasing ducks. Really, I love snuggling and want to do that 24 hours a day. Don’t you love that, too?

Experience with Children:
My history with children is unknown. In foster care, I have interacted with children ages 0 to 18, and have displayed only positive reactions to them.
Experience with Cats:
Pet Harbor says I can live with kitties. I have been tested twice with kitties. I was not reactive either time.
Experience with Dogs:
In foster care, I have had no negative reactions to dogs, but I mostly ignore them because my desire is to spend 100% of my time with humans. I am polite about sharing my humans with other dogs, though.
Energy Level:
Medium
Owner Aptitude Level:
Novice
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Wendy L. Small.
History:
The shelter that housed me has outdoor kennels. Someone left me in the outdoor kennel, and the shelter workers found me there on Monday morning, February 13. So nothing is known about my history.
Movies:
  1. Cute as I can be, tap dancer extraordinaire
  2. While I’m outside, I’d rather be inside
  3. While I’m inside, I’d rather be eating!

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Eleanor Powell is known as the Queen of Tap Dancing, but it’s a lie. I am the Queen of Tap Dancing. The best of the high-steppers, I will prance and tap and dance my way right into your heart. Check out my videos and see for yourself. I love my audience. Humans are my world. Come one, come all. I love all humans. Oh, and did I mention I like to gently and softly sing the song of my people as well? I’m a really great dog. So, like the rest of the Siberians at Pet Harbor, no one can figure out why I am homeless. Maybe you will be my forever dance partner?

Experience with Children:
In my foster home, I have interacted with children of all ages. I have had only positive interactions with them except when they try to pick me up. Then I vamoose!
Experience with Cats:
Since I have been in foster care, I have had only positive interactions with all cats I have met.
Experience with Dogs:
I have met dogs in the 50-75 pound range at my foster home. Since I have been in foster care, I have had only positive interactions with all dogs I have met. In fact, a home with dog(s) would actually be the best home for me. When a dog comes near, I am first up to get canine snuggles.
Named for 9/11 Victim:
I was named for Keith Eugene Coleman.
History:
My family had too many kitties and had to give some up to a metropolitan animal shelter. From there, I came to Pet Harbor.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone but I am kind of the favorite around here (my foster home). Curiosity did not kill this cat. I am very curious and love to be in the middle of everything. That includes getting in the faces of other cats and especially dogs (Dogs are the cat’s meow!). I am an attention getter. Whether via a gentle paw wave or encircling your ankles, when I want your attention, I promise I will let you know. Super affectionate and loving, I have only one teensy quirk. I do not like being picked up. I plant my paws concretely on terra firma. Other than that, I am one happy camper who will shower you with love!
